A native of Hendersonville, Tennessee, James Barnes serves as an account executive at Campaign Solutions. Specializing in social networking and online activation, Barnes has previously worked in many sectors across Washington, holding internships with the White House, renowned pollster Frank Luntz, Project Vote Smart, the David All Group, and the American Highway Users Alliance. A graduate of George Washington University, Barnes holds a B.A. in Political Science with a Concentration in Public Policy, and wrote his capstone paper on the implications of Web 2.0 and social networking to healthcare records management.
While at GWU, Barnes was elected as Chairman of the DC Federation of College Republicans, where he led record-setting deployments to ten states, and held a one year term on the National Board of the College Republican National Committee, where he was elected to sit on its Credentials Committee. During his tenure at Campaign Solutions, Barnes has helped to manage the online presence of a diverse array of nonprofit and political clients, including the National Organization for Marriage, Americans United for Life, Keep America Safe, and Carly for California.
